Lucian.

some place real.

The locals call this place Lucian.

Lucian is the old Piemontese dialect name for a handful of stone buildings — the little hamlet called LoPiano. built around ancient wells that made this hillside worth settling. Nestled below the quaint village of Torresina, on the last authentic farmland in Piedmont.
surrounded by forest and wildlife. It's been here since forever.
We found it derelict and restored it without reinventing it. Its bones are original. So is the quiet.

Welcome to Lucian. Enjoy.

Stone.Timber.

Steel. Silence.

Lucian was built to work, not to impress. A homestead, restored with its original materials — stone, steel, heavy timber. The space is honest and the comfort is curated to make you feel right at home.

Two bedrooms, a kitchen worth cooking in, fast wifi and good mattresses. Everything you need to arrive, settle in, and stop thinking about the rest. Outside, the Alta Langa does what it has always done — hills into forest, forest into sky, and the Alps sitting on the horizon like they own the place.

Everything you need is here.

Everything you don't need isn't.

Some things here are still becoming what they'll be.

The walls carry their age.

The land does what it wants.

We restored this place without ironing out its character

because that's what makes it real.

Honest, not perfect.

Lucian

the house

curated for your comfort

Sleep well. Wake better.

Two kingsize bedrooms.

Plenty of soft pillows and a string quartet of crickets and owls soothing you to sleep.

The kind of sleep you forgot was possible until you had it again in Lucian.

Wake up refreshed in the morning — each bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom.

Buongiorno... cappuccino?

la cucina

Cook like you mean it.

SMEG fridge, wine cooler, Nespresso, dishwasher, combi-oven. Everything you need to cook a serious Italian meal — and the Alta Langa market on Saturday to stock up.

The kitchen at Lucian smells like someone already knows what they're doing. Copper pots, a SMEG fridge that hums quietly, and a wine cooler that has never once been empty on arrival.

The market in Murazzano runs on Friday morning. Get there early — the local Tuma Murazzano DOP cheese goes fast. The woman on the left sells truffle paste from a jar with no label. Buy two. Back at Lucian, the kitchen does the rest. Induction hob, sharp knives, a wooden board big enough to mean business. Aperitivo first - then we'll do the rest.By the time the pasta water is boiling, the Alps have turned pink. By then, time has made itself irrelevant.

il soggiorno

the room that does everything

Living room, and if you need it — a third bedroom. The kingsize sofa bed is as genuinely cosy as comfortable. there are books, There's a TV. And... YES!! -a vintage Nintendo 64, because no one's ever too old for a game of Mario Kart.

Good things take time.

You have plenty of it here.

la terra

The front

of Lucian looks out over the Alps. Not a glimpse — a full, unobstructed panorama across the valley. Sit outside and just watch the light change for an hour.

Who needs a smartphone anyway?

Behind the house

acres of lucerne meadows stretch out — the local farmer harvests it when the season calls.

The outdoor area remains a work in progress, transforming from an old farmer's field into a beautifully designed landscape garden that harmonizes with the surrounding environment. Currently, it serves as a glimpse into the past, where wildflowers, herbs, and grasses flourish, attracting a variety of thriving insects. Gradually, it will evolve into a scenery designed for relaxing moments enjoyed outside, featuring private, terraces that provide both shade and sunlight, outside cooking, a mini-forest, along with ample parking space. Also, a swimming pool is included in the project plans.

Lucian is surrounded by nature, offering a serene garden to immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of the outdoors.

An aperitivo in the sun. There's a BBQ for evenings outside. Private parking on site. The garden is still taking shape — but the landscape around it has been doing its job for centuries.
